Description:

Investigation of the impact of artificial intelligence-based technologies on the regulation of content restriction processes in online platforms, and this in the light of the distinction between "rules" and "standards". While referring to the fact that the policy rules of various online platforms (which determine what content is allowed on them), are becoming more precise and clear, and resemble "rules" in nature, while the developments in the field of NLP (natural language processing), lead to the enforcement of the policy rules being done in a way that suits " standards". The study refers to this gap, its origins and the challenges it provokes.
